ASME SA283 Gr.C Steel Plate

ASTM A283/A283M and ASME SA283/SA283M standards covers low and intermediate tensile strength carbon steel plates of structural quality. A283 Grade C is typically used 

for general structural purposes and has a minimum yield strength of 205 MPa (30,000 psi). 

This grade is a low carbon structural steel that is formable and strong. It shows excellent weldability and machining capability. There are four grades: A, B, C, and D

It is also commonly utilized in the construction of buildings, bridges, manufacturing storage tanks (Like: Oil tanks for oil and gas companies) and low pressure, temperature 

controlled vessels, petrochemistry, chemistry, electricity, boiler and vessel manufacture industries, etc. 

It can be used to make reactor, heat exchange facility, segregator, sphere vessel, oil tank, liquid gas storage tank, nuclear reactor press shell, turbine and other machines.
